We collect information from you when you choose to share information with us by entering it on our Services and by using automated processes.
Information You Provide to Us
We may ask you and you may choose to provide certain personal information to us, such as your first and last name, your e-mail address, your date of birth, your mailing and billing addresses, your telephone number, and your payment information. You may also choose to provide us with other information about you. We may collect this information in various places, including when you register for a Panini account, make a purchase on the Services, participate in our blockchain product, subscribe to our blog or other newsletters, or in other parts of the Site.
Purchases
In order to make purchases through the Services, you will need to create an online account and provide payment information, such as your credit card number and expiration date or PayPal account. If you choose to make a payment online, you will be redirected to one of our PCI-compliant third-party payment processors, Braintree or Authorize.net. Panini strives to ensure that all of its partners and affiliates maintain industry-standard privacy policies. Please be aware, however, that Panini does not directly collect or store any of your payment information, and it does not control the privacy policies and practices of its third-party payment processors. Automated Information Collection
We may automatically collect certain information when you visit or use our Services. This information may include your IP address (or other unique device identifier, including one that we may assign); certain details about your browser, operating system, and hardware; your location, if available; the URL that referred you to our Services; your activities on our Services, including your preferences; and other logging information, such as the date and time of your visit. We also use web server logs to collect and store information about Site usage. If applicable, when you use our mobile applications or visit our Site from a mobile device, like a smartphone, we may also collect additional information from your device, including your location, device identifier, and information about your mobile network. Cookies. A cookie (or “locally shared object”) is a data file placed on your device when you visit our Site. Browser Fingerprinting. Browser fingerprinting is the process of collection and analysis of information from your device, such as, without limitation, your operating system, plug-ins, system fonts and other data, for purposes of identification.
Recognition Technologies. Recognition technologies are technologies, including application of statistical probability to data sets, which attempt to recognize or make assumptions about users and devices (e.g., that a user of multiple devices in the same user).
Location-identifying Technologies.The Services may use GPS (global positioning systems) software to locate you so we may verify your location, deliver you relevant content based on your location, as well as allow you to share your location to other users as part of the Services we provide via the Site. In addition to traditional GPS location-based services, some of the retailers and others we work with may install low power Bluetooth, wifi, radio transmitters, or other devices in physical locations, which emit a signal that your smart phone can detect to pinpoint your location or otherwise interact with the Site (“iBeacons”). In addition, you may be able to send your location information via the Services to other Service users. You should consider the pros and cons involved in disclosing your location information to us and to other people. Where a user of the Services requests that their location information be revealed to other persons, the user will be provided options for managing sharing services, which may be through third-party services such as through Facebook and Instagram. We are not responsible for the acts, omissions or policies of such third parties.
Analytics Services and Targeted Ads
We use third-party analytics services such as Google Analytics Google AdWords, Firebase, Bing Analytics, Facebook Analytics, UpShot.ai, and Dot Digital. These services may track details about your online activities over time and across different sites. These services help us to improve our Site and the Services that we offer you. These services may also allow us and others to provide you with targeted advertisements or other content that you may be interested in based on your online activities. Some third-party analytics services may allow you to opt-out of certain features. Panini requires parental consent in order to be registered for any reason on our Services if the registering individual is under the age of 13. Upon entering an area requiring a registration, those under the age of 13 will be required to have a parent or legal guardian sign a form that must be e-mailed to [email protected] or mailed in to the address at the bottom of this Privacy Policy. Until we receive that form, no information about your child is stored in our databases. Upon receipt of a completed document, Panini further reserves the right to verify that an actual adult signed the document by making a follow-up phone call to the listed parent or legal guardian. Once the document is received and information has been verified, if necessary, the child's information will be added to our database and an e-mail with the account password will be sent to the child's e-mail address. Once a visitor is registered, he/she will be able to enter online contests, participate in the rewards and online redemption offers, and receive e-mail newsletters. Registrants may opt out of the e-mail newsletters at any time by following the removal directions appearing in the e-mails.
Sweepstakes, Contests and Promotions
We may offer sweepstakes, contests, and other promotions (any, a “Promotion”) through the Services may require registration. By participating in a Promotion, you are agreeing to the official rules that govern that Promotion which are separate from this Privacy Policy, and which may contain specific requirements of you, including, allowing the sponsor of the Promotion to use your name, voice, and/or likeness in advertising or marketing associated with the Promotion.
